The Phoenix team is a team of riders put together to promote Mountainboarding in the U.K. Endorsed by Esseye Boarding Gear, the Phoenix team is one of the new age up and coming teams for ATB.
The Phoenix team for 2004 is:

Andy Packer

Inventive and generally crazy guy, not bad rider and an Ok chap too. Andy rides freestyle but enjoys a bash at downhill no and then, and holds a trick book of custom, unorthadox new-age tricks including the FS Flare, Phoenix Flip and FS Barrellroll. However is ALWAYS breaking boards

Dave Sheldon

Fast, wicked and requires a couple of brain scans (too see if he has one) Dave is pacey, fearless and needless to say, recovering from a knee injury!

Steve Sheldon

SHODDY!!! Ace chap, short and nippy. Lives up his boarding skills on the crazy Loko. Freestyle fanatic and Downhill maniac, not many can do what he does.

Jay Packer

Determined on being up with the top riders, Jays' different style of riding impresses the crowd and usually ends up with him hurting! Smart guy

Will Packer

BREAKAGE!!! One snapped Femur, Two snapped boards and a mental age of three. Will enjoys freeride and skating. Will also enjoys abit of the stupider things in life too.

Chris Wilkins

Penguin. What a kid. Not kind of decided on what discipline he really belongs in, he will give anything a go, until he hurts himself. More of a Freespirit, doesn't like rules and authourity. Usually prefers things mellow and calm.

George Sheldon

Freestyle crazy. Not so keen on downhill. Ever developing Freestyle rider, yet to enter a competition though!

Edd Sheldon

9 years old and spins like a top hat. Edd is daring despite his age and can give any freestyle rider a massive run for their money! Very Competitive and very small.

Sam Warrillow

Sam is a new to the scene rider. He definately prefers Downhill/freeride to freestyle. Competitive and won't give up 'til the end.

Greg Fowler

Injury prone Greg. Absolutely incredible rider, has his own outstanding style and proves to be very aggressive in the competitions. Up and coming talent

Sam Imber

Brand Spanking new kid and knows what he likes, speed, control and long (steep) roads. Definately trapped in by the attraction of the steep countryside roads. Some of us would grab a longboard, he grabs his ATB. Always on a new board and always tuning his kit to go faster. Rides a MBS Wrangler and is mad for LOKO-ing too!!

Adam Justice

An all around crazy guy, renowned for his double team 118-118 races with Dave Compton. Fearless and seeks more adrenaline than he can achieve. Working on signature freestyle tricks but owns a selection of handy tricks including Indy stiffy air and 360's

Dave Compton

Dave is a total wildcard to the ATB scene this year but has already shown the U.K. what he can do at various domestic and international events. Renowned for his Mute stiffy air and mute tailpokes. Fairly big nutter!!! Usually rides more freestyle but is gaging to hit every boarder x course on the planet.
