RTH Priory Farm Slopestyle Challenge, September 19-21 2003
What a cracker of a weekend.
The crew at Ride the Hill put in alot of effort to ensure this to be a great 1st International stage slopetyle weekend. Joining us Brits on the course were Diego and Nico (France) and Austin Robbins (U.S.A)
The weather was hot, dry and dusty. the course was in perfect shape (well done to Andy Potter, Dale Henson and Clive Godfrey) and the quaterpipe with 2 foot of vert brougth something totally new to the comp scene.
Riders watched a variety of unseen skills on rails and vert come in and some newcomers to (well done Lester and Pat)
The comp saw Tom Kirkman ripping up the dust against Renny Miles and Austin Robbins hitting the 1/4 pipe to axle stalls.
Our very own team rider Andy Packer landed a massive Front Flip impressing the crowd and became semi- injured whilst trying his Phoenix Flip.
Good competition and excellent weather. Good season closer.
Results are:
U-14

2nd- Oli Haycock
